3. Refund Policy
3.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Life is intended to provide users with a helpful personal organization experience.
For eligible purchases, Life offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.
A refund request should be submitted within 30 calendar days of the applicable initial purchase.
To request assistance with a refund, contact: ABlackCatFr@gmail.com.
Use the subject: Refund Request.
Include:
- The email associated with your Life account
- Approximate purchase date
- Subscription type
- Platform used to purchase
- Transaction or order identifier, if available.
Do not email full debit-card, credit-card, or bank-account numbers.
3.2 App Marketplace Purchases
When a purchase is processed through an application marketplace such as Apple's App Store or another platform, that marketplace may control billing and refund approval.
Life cannot override decisions made by an independent marketplace when that marketplace controls the transaction.
Our policy is to support legitimate refund requests submitted within the 30-day guarantee period, but marketplace rules, local law, and the marketplace's technical ability to issue the refund may apply.
Users may be required to submit the refund request directly through the platform where the purchase was made.
3.3 Direct Purchases
If Life directly processes a purchase and has the technical ability to refund the transaction, an eligible request submitted within the 30-day guarantee period may be refunded to the original payment method.
Processing times may depend on the payment processor and financial institution.
3.4 Renewals
The 30-day money-back guarantee primarily applies to an eligible initial paid purchase unless otherwise expressly stated.
Automatic renewal charges do not create an unlimited recurring 30-day guarantee period.
However, users experiencing:
- Accidental renewal
- Duplicate billing
- Technical failure
- Incorrect billing
- Unauthorized billing
should contact us promptly so the issue can be reviewed.
Applicable consumer-protection laws remain unaffected.
3.5 Abuse of Refunds
Life may refuse a refund request where permitted by law if there is credible evidence of:
- Refund fraud
- Repeated abuse
- Manipulation of purchase systems
- Chargeback abuse
- False transaction information.
This provision does not limit any mandatory rights provided by applicable consumer law.
3.6 Cancellation Is Separate From Refunds
Canceling a subscription prevents future renewals.
Cancellation does not necessarily create a refund for a completed purchase.
A user seeking both cancellation and a refund may need to complete both processes.
